Considering IPL Treatment?

Everyone struggles to make a decision about what treatment to go for when it is about your body and your health. Here you have some facts about IPL hair removal.
In order to get optimal results with our IPL hair removal treatment you need to have a hair of 1 to 3milimetres. This allows the light to be caught by the melanine in the hair (and not by the skin) and to travel right to the root of the follicle
The number of sessions that you need depends on the color and thickness of the hair, the skin colour and the area you want to treat. There are other factors that can affect the number of sessions needed such as hormonal states and gender.
After IPL treatment you may get some skin irritation with raised bumps and red colouration around each hair follicle. This is called Perifolliculitis and is typical of this treatment. This normally subsides within hours of the treatment. We recommend the use of a moisturizer lotion with calming effects but also with regenerative-reparative properties like our No+Vello lotion which also contains sun protection factor. This will give your skin the right aftercare and will minimize the undesired effects of this treatment such dry skin and its consequences.
Initially you will need one session every 4-6 weeks but this will be progressively spaced in time as the follicle debilitates and hair takes longer to grow. In the majority of cases the hair reduction is of about 80-85% which means that you will see only few hairs growing, wich take longer to appear and are much thinner. The average number of session is between 6-10 but as mentioned before, this will depend on many factors.
Once the treatment has ended, you will need to come for a “reminder session” about once a year so the results are maintained. Any remaining hair can be removed with traditional methods since it will be very thin, weak and scarce.

About No+Vello

NO+VELLO NOW IN UK

We are the world leaders in IPL hair removal and skin Rejuvenation with more than 900 centers worldwide.
No+Vello salons offer Permanent Hair reduction and Skin Rejuvenation with the latest IPL technology. IPL works via pulses of light applied to the skin.
Due to our franchise model, we can offer the best prices in the market without compromising in quality. Our IPL technology is the latest, since No+Vello is the only IPL company which has its own R&D department where our IPL machines are constantly tested and further developed.
Aside from the well known benefits of hair removal, IPL can also be used for rejuvenation of the skin (attenuates expression lines and thin wrinkles, reduces pore size, provides luminosity and produces a tensor effect in the area by activation of collagen). This gives the skin a more homogeneous appearance in terms of skin colour and texture; all in all, it provides a rejuvenated and healthy skin.
IPL can also be used to treat conditions such as:
  • Sun damage induced dyspigmentation and vascular changes
  • Acne Rosacea
  • Broken capillaries/telangiectases
  • Vascular and pigmented birth marks
We have turned the “Hair Removal World” upside down through the introduction of a single flat rate of £39 per area, per session, thus becoming the best alternative to traditional hair removal.
Thousands of happy customers have helped make us the largest IPL hair removal company. Come and meet us at your nearest No+Vello centre.
